On July 31, Chief Scientist Professor Ian Chubb released the position paper: “Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in the National Interest: A Strategic Approach.”

The paper presents an approach for a national strategy to guide Australia’s STEM enterprise and was released in an address to the National Press Club.
