Senate Inquiry Submission – Australia's Innovation System

On July 23, 2014, Professor Chubb delivered a Senate Inquiry submission on the state of the Australian Innovation System.

Australia’s Chief Scientist provided a submission to the Senate Economics References Committee on the challenges to Australian industries and jobs posed by increasing global competition in innovation, science, engineering, research and education.

The submission included a report on Australia’s Innovation System, emphasising the need for a forward-looking, long-term and whole-of-government strategy to boost Australia’s innovation performance and national competitiveness.
