Completing Year 12 is a hard for most young people any time, but in the middle of a pandemic, it’s been really tough.

Australia’s Chief Scientist has a message for our senior high school students  finishing their final year of school: "Don’t lose heart".

“Your senior years of high school have been massive times of change ... The resilience you’ve embraced, the self-motivation you’ve had to employ, the determination you’ve displayed – these are skills that take many of us decades to gain.

"Year 12 is your last year at school and it might feel like the end of something. But actually it’s the beginning of the rest of your life! There is so much more ahead of you and I can’t wait to see what you do.”
