Australia’s Chief Scientistvisited the Hunter Region on 28 July. During atour ofthe new iStem classroom at St Philip’s Christian College in Newcastle, Professor Chubb spoke with Emma Murphy of NBN News about the importance of science education to regional development.

“An area like the Hunter can prosper differently from the way that it has in the past by doing things differently, doing new things.The education system is critically important in that transition,” Professor Chubb said.
